About The Lamole Series
For several years I had the good fortune to be able to spend significant periods of time at a friend's house in Lamole, Italy. Lamole is just outside of Greve, which is about 40 minutes south of Florence. After painting and sketching in Italy, I returned home with many ideas that are still being played out. This series is a progression from representational images of the vines to completely abstracted.
